About Tim Oliver
Tim Oliver is a Landscape Architect and owner of a design/build landscape firm in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in landscape architecture in 1983 from Texas Tech University.
Tim has always enjoyed drawing and sketching and in recent years has developed a love of the watercolor medium. He is passionate about communicating the character and emotion of a place through on-location or "en plein air" sketching and painting. He is a founding member and contributor to Urban Sketchers Texas(www.urbansketchers-texas.blogspot.com), a regional affiliate blog site of the international organization Urban Sketchers (www.urbansketchers.org).
While Tim will sketch or paint anything that stirs emotion within him, he is drawn to things western and rural. Anything evocative of a "time long passed by" will always capture his attention.
